Acholi Association is deeply pained to the core by the sad, untimely death of President Dr Apollo Milton Obote who passed away on 10th October 2005.
True African/Ugandan Nationalism is personified in Obote.
We have lost an irreplaceable son of Africa whose political and personal legacy in Uganda, Africa and around the world ranks high amongst giant statesmen.
He was loved and adored, liked and respected by friends, valued and treasured by political allies and nations,
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
